success at the 2nd Para World Championships which
recently occurred in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Ms.
Standeven won Gold and is the female world champion
within her division. She is a student of Grandmaster Jay
Park of Edmonton.

Taekwondo Society!
Everyone at Studios Group Martial Arts and the
Raptor/Dragon Taekwondo Society would like to thanks all
the Schools, Masters, Instructors, Competitors and
Volunteers who made our inaugural Raptor/SGMA Challenge
Tournament an excellent success. Our tournament was the
first ever to be held in conjunction with the Canadian
Breast Cancer Foundation, and we were able to raise
$2081.30 for them! Our goal next year is to raise
over $5000 and with the continued support of the Alberta
Taekwondo Association our goal is definitely feasible.

volunteered at our tournament you can be proud of what
