Assistant Instructor (AI) Certification Challenge & Build Your AI Portfolio Workshop
This workshop is focused on helping you complete the AI portfolio in order to challenge the AI evaluation.
- To uphold the integrity and Coaching standards as set forth by the Alberta Taekwondo Association (ATA)
- To ensure Coaches are competent, qualified and certified to coach Colored Belt Students/Athletes in local/provincial tournaments in 2020 as per the ATA’s Coaching Policy
- To help guide Coaches “how to” do the 5 Tasks in the AI Portfolio to prepare for the AI evaluation
Task 1: Coach Assessment Forms – Coach / Parent / Athlete
Task 2: Design an Emergency Action Plan
Task 3: Complete A Lesson Plan
Task 4: Create a Skill Analysis Referent Model
Task 5: Complete Make Ethical Decisions (MED) and process to a
Taekwondo specific scenario. + Online Evaluation
